Structure and exterior calculators
Plan roof, slab, fence and drywall quantities with geometry that follows the real project edges—not generic floating labels.

Every calculator includes US and metric inputs, editable waste and package coverage, and a practical shopping list.
Measure once.
Order with evidence.
Enter each measurement directly, review the assumptions, and use the rounded package quantities to prepare the order.
- 1
Measure simple sections
Divide roofs, slabs, fence runs and wall shells into simple sections. Direction changes, openings and different depths belong in separate entries so the total can be checked.
- 2
Capture the third dimension
Thickness, wall height and roof pitch can change quantities dramatically. Read the live image highlight to confirm that the field refers to the intended real-world edge.
- 3
Verify site requirements
Material arithmetic does not replace structural design, frost-depth rules, wind requirements, drainage, permits or manufacturer installation details. Confirm those before ordering.
Structure calculator questions
Are these structural engineering calculators?
No. They estimate material quantity for planning. Load capacity, reinforcement, foundations, fastening, code compliance and safety decisions require the approved project specification or a qualified professional.
Can I add complex shapes?
Add each simple rectangular roof plane, slab, wall shell or straight fence run separately. Curves, circles, valleys and engineered assemblies may need a specialized takeoff.
Do the estimates include every accessory?
The calculators list the primary material and selected supporting items. Project-specific flashing, reinforcement, joints, trim, fasteners, drainage and equipment must be confirmed separately.
