Information ProjectMeter processes
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser. ProjectMeter does not require an account and does not send project dimensions to a ProjectMeter server in the current version of the service.
Local storage
The site stores your measurement-system preference and any projects or checklist progress you choose to save in local storage on your device. This information stays in that browser unless you remove it through the site controls or your browser settings.
Google advertising
ProjectMeter may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar technologies to serve, measure and personalize ads, prevent fraud and produce reporting. Google explains how it uses data on sites that use its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services ↗.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings ↗. Additional industry opt-out choices may be available at YourAdChoices ↗.
Consent and regional privacy choices
When Google advertising is active, ProjectMeter is configured to use a Google-certified consent management platform where required before requesting personalized advertising. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland can accept, reject or manage advertising purposes through that message. Privacy messages for applicable US states provide the choices required for Google advertising services.
External links
Guides link to manufacturers, public agencies and other sources. Their websites operate under their own privacy practices, which ProjectMeter does not control.
Children's privacy
ProjectMeter is a general home-project planning service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
